"Old Library" is an olfactory tribute to the mystical and enigmatic world of Umberto Eco's "The Name of the Rose." This fragrance transports you to the medieval monastery library depicted in the novel, a labyrinth of dark secrets, manuscript treasures, and wooden bookshelves that hold the weight of centuries of knowledge. The scent captures the essence of old dusty books with fragile pages, imbued with the aroma of the wooden shelves they have rested on for generations.
At the beginning of this olfactory journey, the head notes of bergamot and basil entice your senses with their refreshing and aromatic embrace. Bergamot's citrusy brightness intertwines with the herbal and earthy tones of basil, evoking the allure of the natural surroundings of the monastery hills where the monks grow their fragrant herbs.
As the scent delves deeper, the heart notes of rosewood and aged vanilla create a harmonious and elegant bouquet. Rosewood's warm and woody charm mingles with vanilla's sweetness, conjuring the image of ancient manuscripts filled with wisdom and narratives waiting to be explored.
