What is an Incense Blend and how to use it?

Incense has been used for centuries as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual — a vessel of transformation, purification, and sacred intent. As its smoke rises, it is said to cleanse the air, release stagnant energy, and awaken inner clarity. Each blend is crafted from natural resins, herbs, and botanicals, created to accompany meditation, ritual, or creative practice. It is a quiet offering to the unseen — a moment of grounding, reflection, and connection.

Instructions:
Use on hot charcoal for an intense smoke (refresh often as it burns quickly), on an incense burner with a heating element under a metal plate for a gentler heated diffusion, or dry on a small plate for the most delicate scent. Best results when heated.

Tear of the Moon — a nocturnal incense blend shaped in the old temple style: luminous resin, dark resin, and a sweet balsamic veil that clings to the air like silver mist.

It opens with clean frankincense brightness—moonlight on stone—then deepens into myrrh’s solemn, earthy shadow, giving the smoke its quiet gravity. A soft thread of styrax-like balsam rounds everything into a sweet-spiced warmth, turning the whole atmosphere velvety, meditative, and strangely comforting.

In alchemical terms, LACRIMA LUNAE is a lunar operation: calming, sealing, and clarifying—a blend for stillness, night-work, and the kind of inner silence where intuition becomes audible.
