LONGEVITY AND PROJECTION:
"Arina Franzén" perfumes are botanical compositions, which are naturally more subtle on the skin. They evolve with your body chemistry rather than projecting loudly into the air. I fell in love with this one the minute I opened the sample. Then I got the last full bottle. It truly awakens memories of sorting out the cut wood for the winter heating season, the wood shed at my parents, "my" forest. I put it on me even before sleep to imagine that I'm there.

A wonderful, woody, resinous scent. Brings back memories of my grandfather's woodworking shop and walks in the forest.
The smell is mostly there but the citrus is a little off in "ancient woods". The citrus in the complete package smells more like lemongrass than lemon though as the fragrance is green. I'd wish it lasted a little longer on both skin and clothes as well.
Packaging is spot on. Presentation is OK and bottle is beautiful but the cap has a really off-putting sharp edge on it.
Buy it now on sale if you like the ingredients listed. You won't be disappointed!
