What is an Incense Blend and how to use it?

Incense has been used for centuries as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual — a vessel of transformation, purification, and sacred intent. As its smoke rises, it is said to cleanse the air, release stagnant energy, and awaken inner clarity. Each blend is crafted from natural resins, herbs, and botanicals, created to accompany meditation, ritual, or creative practice. It is a quiet offering to the unseen — a moment of grounding, reflection, and connection.

Instructions:
Use on hot charcoal for an intense smoke (refresh often as it burns quickly), on an incense burner with a heating element under a metal plate for a gentler heated diffusion, or dry on a small plate for the most delicate scent. Best results when heated.

• ARCANUM IGNIS • 

Fire Secret — a traditional temple incense reimagined as an alchemical working blend. It opens with luminous frankincense: pale smoke and sacred clarity, like light caught in stone. Myrrh follows — darker, solemn, grounding — giving the blend its underworld gravity and ritual seriousness. A warm current of benzoin and balsamic resins melts through the heart, softening the smoke into ambered sweetness, while woody notes (hinting of old timber and quiet sanctuaries) hold everything in place.

When heated, it becomes a living atmosphere: cathedral air, resin tears, ancient wood, and a velvet warmth that lingers long after the flame has gone out.

Effect (in alchemical terms): consecration, containment, and inner ignition — a steady fire for focus, protection, and nocturnal clarity.
