PERFUME NOTES:
Head notes: Coconut Pulp, Petitgrain Sur Fleurs, Pink Peppercorn.
Heart notes: Iris, Pink Lotus, Jasmine Sambac, Magnolia, Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose.
Base notes: Mate, Hay, Buddha Wood, Carrot Seeds.

Elegant, mysterious, with a gentle spice and dry hay nuance — richly floral yet slightly tart.
Not a light or oversweet tuberose: this formula uses a natural tuberose absolute with a deep, earthy character, softened and balanced by creamy florals. More suitable as an evening fragrance.

"Arina Franzén" perfumes are botanical compositions, which are naturally more subtle on the skin. They evolve with your body chemistry rather than projecting loudly into the air. Wear time is highly individual: on some, the scent may linger all day; on others, it may soften after a few hours and benefit from re-application.
For an accurate impression, allow the fragrance to settle on skin for a few minutes before evaluating — natural compositions need that brief time to unfold properly.

I think the name is really fitting. It's a natural tuberose, not sweet. I don't even find it green, or at least not as it's commonly believed: it's not an aromatic or bitter green, rather "dark" green, probably given by mate.
All the tuberose perfumes I've owned or tried have been more or less cheerful - they corresponded to the color white or yellow. Only one was darker, and that was Tubéreuse Criminelle by Serge Lutens. But it still wasn't a dark shade, maybe a brownish-red.
I haven't seen black tuberose in bloom, but I would imagine it exactly like this: a dark queen with long red-lacquered nails, all in black veils. And with a dark soul.
