An olfactory history of Villaniflōr Parfumerie, an independent Swedish niche perfume house powered by Dark Tales | Artisan Perfumery, dedicated to the elegance of classical perfumery.
Created by perfumer Arina P. Franzén, Villaniflōr draws inspiration from the sophistication of vintage fragrances, combining delicate florals, luxurious powders, velvety woods and rich gourmand accords. Each composition is a contemporary interpretation of traditional perfumery, celebrating refinement, nostalgia and understated beauty.
Fragrances are arranged chronologically, from newest to oldest, and alphabetically within each year.
2026
Fleur d'Ōranger (2026) — Sweet orange and delicate floral notes introduce an elegant heart of orange blossom, jasmine, calendula and carnation, resting on a smooth, luminous base of sandalwood, warm amber, soft woods and white musk.
Iris Pōudré (2026) — Delicate chamomile and airy florals unfold into an elegant heart of precious orris butter, powdery iris, jasmine, blue cypress and gentle incense, settling into soft amber, cashmere and white musk. A refined composition reminiscent of vintage cosmetic powders and delicate silk.
Nōir Kakaō (2026) — Soft aldehydes, violet and ylang-ylang introduce a rich gourmand heart of dark cocoa, chocolate, aged vanilla, caramel, coconut and African rum, resting on creamy sandalwood, tonka bean, benzoin, amber, vetiver, cashmere and white musk.
Persika (2026) — Velvety peach skin, juicy apricot, airy aldehydes, neroli and ozone give way to orange blossom, osmanthus, heliotrope, mimosa, ylang-ylang, black tea and honeybush, settling into a creamy base of sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, ambergris, warm amber and white musk.
Skandal Rōse (2026) — Blood orange, hyacinth and delicate florals unfold into an opulent bouquet of Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, Rose de Mai, Egyptian jasmine, carnation, peony and mimosa, resting on velvety sandalwood, ambrette, cashmere, ambergris, soft moss, warm amber and white musk.
