SCENT PROFILE:
A smoky amber-woody fragrance with a dark, ritualistic warmth. It opens with bright white grapefruit and pink pepper cutting through the first wave of smoke, before the scent deepens into clove, soft peach skin, incense, and glowing woods. The drydown is warm, resinous, and shadowed — like smouldering embers, sandalwood, dark amber, and sacred smoke lingering long after the fire has burned low.

DESIGN:
The bottle is finished with a transparent spray tube for a cleaner visual experience—after the first use, the air bubble will disappear, and the tube will become nearly invisible.

HÄXELD is the darker flame of Valborg — the fire remembered from the older beliefs, when smoke was not only a sign of spring, but protection. In Nordic folk tradition, Walpurgis Night was once seen as a threshold night, when unseen forces were believed to move more freely, and people lit great fires to keep darkness, danger, and ill fortune away. This is not the gentle fire of celebration, but the sharper fire of warning: sparks rising against the cold sky, bitter smoke clinging to clothes, resinous wood cracking in the dark. Around it, the air feels tense and alive — citrus brightness cutting through smoke, spices glowing like embers, dark woods burning slowly beneath the surface. There is warmth here, but it is not soft; it is protective, wild, and ancient. HÄXELD captures the fire before it becomes festive — the first fierce blaze that drives the shadows back.
